expert knowledge + visualization = the key to successful outcomes

Ultrasound-guided injections are safer and more effective
The ability to use musculoskeletal ultrasound to guide therapeutic needling injections dramatically increases their efficacy (check out these two articles). The combination of visualization and our physicians' expertise results in precise injection placement.  If your safety and the desire for a positive outcome is important to you, our ultrasound-guided injections provide a huge advantage compared to standard palpation-based (blind) injections.

Our therapeutic injections are less painful and more accurate
First, by seeing the needle below skin surface in real time, our doctors do not have to insert the needle to the point it reaches a bone. This makes the procedure more comfortable and less painful. Secondly, the needle can be more precisely directed towards the target, allowing our doctors to know exactly where the medication is being injected. This increases the likelihood of the injection working as intended and reduces the risk of injuring delicate structures.  Lastly, ultrasound-guidance can be helpful in a situation where an injection doesn't offer the patient any relief, allowing the doctor to definitively rule out that particular structure as the source of pain.
